Days Filled With The Same Ol' Stuff: How Has This Become Normal?

Today, President Trump is expected to sign an Executive Order in which he renames the Department of Defense to Department of War. The last time we had a Department of War was in the year just after World War II. We have instead focused on diplomacy, and although by no means perfect, diplomacy has worked when we've set our minds to it.

I will write more about this order once it is released. News outlets are already going off about it, but that's not what I want to do.

Every day, the president is threatening to send troops into U.S. cities and turn communities upside down. Each day, our healthcare system is being eroded and access to healthcare is reduced, and the economic system that is barely keeping most people afloat is being whittled away by rising prices, de-regulation (reduction of rules and regulations designed to protect us from the predations of wealthy people), etc...

But that's normal now. That's why I am writing here less. It's all repetition.
