The military and ICE are becoming more brazen in its Los Angeles operation. In the morning of July 7, they descended upon a mostly empty park in a show of menace that is both anti-American and anti-peace, and interrupted a day camp for children.
Over 100 troops, 17 military humvees and other vehicles, including riders on horseback, marched across the park. Leaders of a day camp for children rushed the children away, leaving the park empty. Soon, protestors arrived. The mayor of Los Angeles arrived along with them.
Observers and analysts claim this was simply done as a show of force and to instill fear into the people of Los Angeles.
