Ending Telecommuting Bad For Tax Dollars, Results In More Upheaval

Secretary Noem of the US Department of Agriculture announced widespread layoffs at the Department of Agriculture due to "bloated bureaucracy."

However, a look at the press release reveals that the major issue is that all the telecommuters were required to return to an office, and most of them opted to work out of Washington D.C. which forces the Department of Agriculture to pay for office space in one of the most expensive real estate markets in the country. This costs taxpayers millions more dollars.

The fix will be to fire employees and to force others to move across the country to places like Fort Collins, Colorado.
