Department of Commerce Withdraws Funding For Climate Change Research

The Department of Commerce pulled funding from Princeton University for climate change research. Princeton ran models showing a continued rise in the earth's temperature, predicting further climate-related problems to the world's migration and economic patterns. The administration cites "climate anxiety" as a primary reason for cutting the funds.

Although Princeton is not the only entity that studies climate change, this move is a signal to all organizations that the use of Federal Funds to attempt to predict what may occur in the future is off limits.

I already noted in a previous post that the Department of Defense has cut all funding on climate change, which undermines our ability to prepare for future trends in immigration, political strife, and food supplies, all of which create pressures on societies that lead to wars.
