SNIPPET: Right Wing Media Lies: A Case Study

This headline in Fox News has right wing lunatics crying foul, when in fact it does not indicate any fraud whatsoever.

FOX News and other conservative media outlets consistently lie to their consumers about what is going on with DOGE and the Trump Administration's efforts to dismantle the Federal government. President Trump is one of those consumers, and regularly repeats their talking points.

These news outlets are well aware of their influence over the president and they consistently feed him news that he wants to hear, and which will lead him and his followers to take to social media in a rage.

In the headline above, FOX leads people to believe that $4.7 trillion has been spent fraudulently. This, however, is stupid and implies nothing of the sort. Nonetheless, every right-wing lunatic in the United States immediately flipped their lid on social media.

FOX, Breitbart and others feed disinformation to their viewers constantly and whip them into fierce frenzies.*

*In a press conference on February 20, key Trump staffers were asked about some of the lies Trump has told, and instead of acknowledging the lies, his staffers obfuscated. It makes sense: They don't want to be fired by saying, "Yeah, that was a lie. And that other thing was a lie. And those fifty other things, also lies."
