What Is The Golden Toilet?

The Golden Toilet is a blog I created to make observations on President Trump's second term. I like the blog format because it's easily searchable, and simple to update. Also, it's free.

I am an American, living in the rural Intermountain West of the United States. I was born in a small town, and have lived my life in rural towns in regions West of the Rocky Mountains.

Trump's style of administration is to fire out information, misinformation and disinformation so quickly, that the media gets stuck in a mire, unable to keep up with what's important. While I certainly can't keep up with everything, I hope to highlight the major moments in Trump's second administration and attempt to track the causes and effects of his actions and doctrines and how they unfold over time.

I don't believe that everything that happens under any president is by its very nature all good or all bad. No person is all good or all evil. So I will make note of things I see as "wins" whenever I find them. For example, the closing of the Federal Executive Institute: that's a win. Thank you, Mr. President.

I believe Trump is a malevolent force on earth. However, he surrounds himself with petulant individuals who end up hating each other and harming his agenda. Furthermore, as we saw in his first administration, he receives substantial pushback from agency officials at every level, even the people he chooses. We will see how this plays out during his second term.

How To Use The Golden Toilet

This blog is primarily for my own use. I need to be able to organize my thoughts, create timelines, etc... Therefore, once I make a post about something, I may return and update the post later, instead of making 5 different posts on the same topic. For example, I updated the Columbia University story at least 6 times as the drama played out.

I do this so, when I search for the topic of Columbia University next year or in two years, I will get one essay instead of 6. So, if you're looking for a topic that is in the news today but you don't see it, use the Search bar and see if I have a past story on the topic. If I've followed that topic, there could be a past story that I'm updating.
