The Trump Administration appears to be planning a large-scale, flashy, military parade on Trump's birthday, June 14. This also happens to be the date of the 250th anniversary of the US Army.
Despite the fact that local officials say the administration is in contact with them, planning the parade, the administration itself says it knows nothing about it. Based on the long history of the administration being lying liars who lie, I am nearly certain that Trump is planning a large birthday parade for himself.
Such parades destroy pavement and cost millions in security. This parade, if it comes to pass, is estimated to cost over 90 million.
Historically, if you look up "military parades" in Google, you will see what kinds of governments and leaders put on these parades. We are that kind of country now.
