| Elon Musk brags about removing resources from U.S. websites that seek to protect LGBTQ+ people from hate crimes. Here, he posts as DOGE on the platform formerly known as Twitter, showing the before and after of the Department of Homeland Security web page dedicated to hate crimes against the community. Although President Trump has ordered that all references to transgender people be removed from Federal websites, forms, and other publications, he still acknowledges gay, lesbian and bisexual people, and hate crimes still exist against these communities. Beyond finding efficiencies, DOGE is skimming the Federal government to enforce ideological purity. There are other examples posted on the platform formerly known as Twitter's DOGE page. |
